A printed version will also be available eventually. Feel free to save this web page and print it off.

AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINALS:- Australia's Aboriginals should have equal rights, equality of land title, health, social & legal services, with benefits based solely on individual needs.

CRIME:- One Nation will take a tough line on all crime, majority of crime is drug related. We will have zero tolerance on drugs, setting up a special drug squad & a hot line for reporting & acting on any drug activity. Distribution & use of drugs are a criminal offence & so will be treated as such. Free needles & other forms of encouragement will cease. We will have truth in sentencing & equality in justice. We will ensure it is the criminal that suffers and not the victims of crime. People have the right to be safe in their homes, businesses or on the street, especially our seniors. This equality will include the use of reasonable force including fire arms, legislating to ensure that it is the criminal who is disarmed.

EDUCATION:- One Nation is committed to a fundamental level of education which encompasses at the very least, writing, reading, spoken skills & expression combination with essential mathematics to ensure this we will replace the UNESCO "PROGRESSIVE" system with a full "SYLLABUS" system, with emphasis on responsibility, competition & discipline. We will reinstate school inspectors & ensure morality, aptitude tests will be conducted to ensure students are directed towards an education in line with their capabilities. Statistics show that two thirds of students choose trades etc. & the other third go into professional pursuits. For students going into trades it is essential that they begin apprenticeships at 16 years of age, as this is proven to be the best age to mould them into the discipline of learning. To keep them at school beyond this age for what seems to be political purposes is a waste. Upon completing college & their apprenticeship they can then pursue any further education. This means that the high school certificate level would be upon completion of the third year. For students intending to go on to professional or academic pursuits they would need to complete the final two years of high school.

EMERGENCY SERVICES:- One Nation will ensure that adequate funding is made available over the full period of each year. This corrects the current arrangement of money on demand if the department can justify a desperate need. We believe that RFS sections of Emergency Services are short funded.

EMPLOYMENT, TRAINING & YOUTH :- One Nation believes that re-industrialisation is the best way of creating lasting employment with positions for skilled, semi-skilled & unskilled workers. This, combined with training our own rather than importing skills, changing the school education system to the needs of industry with greater emphases on apprentice training. Labor programs in this area are very hypocritical & ineffective, resulting in record youth unemployment, causing despair & suicide. One Nation will make the creation of employment & the cutting of unemployment & all its associated social ills our major objectives.

ENERGY :- ONE NATION is committed to ensuring that Queensland energy consumers have access to competitive electricity & gas prices. as well as ensuring the fraudulent greenhouse impacts on energy (Kyoto accords) are not perpetuated on the people of Queensland. Our Energy Policy, has a number of key objectives, namely:

* To diversify the State's energy mix towards the greater use of high technology efficient & environmentally friendly sustainable sources, such gas especially Autogas to replace unleaded petrol. The deadly witches brew of aromatics that replaced lead, these are Dimethylbenzine, Mestitlene, Toluene, Xylene & Benzene. All declared carcinogens that will cause asthma, leukemia & other cancer related illnesses. Catalytic converters add to the health problem causing chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). By fitting of an inexpensive Australian device we will eliminate the need for expensive & deadly catalytic converters, ULP & LRP.

ENVIRONMENT:- One Nation will ensure the protection of the Queensland environment. Control of the state's National Parks, will be denied to World Heritage & returned to the people of Queensland. There will be no debt for equity swap with the IMF & World Bank for Australia's natural assets & wildlife. We will foster the development of advanced efficient cleaner sustainable energy technologies, encourage the use & conversion to environmentally friendly Autogas, & discourage the use of deadly unleaded petrol. We will not ratify the Kyoto accords or other UN treaties, which are essentially fraudulent & a disaster of international pseudo-science. They dangerously interfere in the climate system, profit the wealthy promoters of globalisation, and are to the detriment of the environment & encourage the impoverishment of the working class.

Water is the only resource that Australia lacks, therefore it is essential to conserve this valuable commodity. We propose an integrated catchment management plan to be developed & implemented, to ensure adequate storage & supply of water & prevent its degradation. Water management practices to eliminate the discharge of sewerage to bay or ocean outlets. Reuse of treated grey water & wherever possible the piping of it inland for irrigation & improving flow of river systems. We do not believe in the commercialisation of a God given resource for the exploitation of Australians & the profit of a few.

HEALTH & HOSPITAL :- That all Queenslanders have a right to a high standard of health & hospital care. One Nation supports the development of an equitable, efficient & high quality care system that is accessible to all Queenslanders regardless of means, with Public Hospitals funded by lotteries, & reinstatement of public hospital boards. The private system is mostly foreign owned, & profits are not to the benefits of Queensland, so it should not be publicly funded, if it is to the detriment of the public system.

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS :- One Nation's Industrial Relations policy is based on fairness & equality for all Queensland employees & employers. One Nation supports policies which emphasises self-worth, self esteem & pride in Australian workmanship & achievements, as well as respect & remuneration for those who achieve more or are willing to work harder.

LOCAL COUNCILS & PLANNING:- One Nation will ensure that only the best practices in planning, development assessment & building codes are in place to ensure a sound & economic future development for Queensland. We will ensure that local councils provide only the required community services as per the local government referendum of 1988.

MINING & NATURAL RESOURCES:- The Queensland Department of Natural Resources & Mines manages the use of the State's resources-land, water, minerals, petroleum & vegetation ensure that, while generating income, they are maintained & continue to add to the quality of life in Queensland. Our objectives are basically in line with these, additionally we support value adding to our resources by processing them here, ensuring jobs & wealth for Australian's. Our policy is one of equality, in which all resources in this state belong to Queensland & the Commonwealth of Australia for the benefit of all Queenslander Australian's.We do not support the Native Title Act & other divisive discriminating legislation, we will work to reverse such legislation. We will also withdraw from treaties which are harmful to our industry and are of no benefit to Queensland.

MULTICULTURALISM :- Multiculturalism has failed everywhere. It is negative & divisive. It is a heavy weight that is drowning our once safe & cohesive society. One Nation will abolish Multicultural Affairs Queensland & the Queensland Anti- Discrimination Commission . We will promote assimilation, nationalism, loyalty & the pride in being an Australian. The millions of dollars wasted by these departments will be invested in all Queenslanders.

PRIMARY INDUSTRIES:- One Nation will ensure continued growth in food & fibre industries, ensuring environment-friendly sustainable production, & ethical resource use. Confident viable rural communities, safe food & protection against imported pests & diseases, innovation in science & technology, & a sound return on investment for Queensland. These are the same objectives as those of the Department of Primary Industries, however due to political interference, misdirection, & deregulation they loose direction at times. This has resulted in uncompetitive prices, a flood of imports and a loss of markets, livelihoods & jobs. One Nation will protect our primary industries from deregulation, globalisation & treaties that threaten competitiveness. Energy prices & other costs of production will be reduced. New technologies will be used to preserve foods, to control insect pests, & to ensure water supplies.

PUBLIC WORKS:- One Nation will ensure that necessary public works will be undertaken for the benefit of all Queenslanders. We will remove all legislative barriers to public works created by the National Competition Policy.

STATE DEVELOPMENT :- One Nation is generally in agreement with the aims & objectives of the State Development Department, however unfortunately most of it is only rhetoric. Real development in Queensland is restricted by the many state & federal policies which impact badly on development. The result is the high unemployment in the state. Examples of these restrictions are: GST, Native Title, Kyoto Accords, Deregulation, high fuel prices, UN Treaties & restrictive trade practices. ONE NATION Policies are to remove all these restrictions on development providing a low tax, low cost, true level playing field.

SENIORS POLICY:- One Nation proposes that Queenslanders over the age of 55 be classified as Seniors. They should not suffer demeaning categorization as is now the case in Queensland where they come under the control of Department of Families, Ageing & Senior Card discounts. Benefits extended to them are minor tokens compared with other states. One Nation will address & correct this.

TRANSPORT & MAIN ROADS POLICY:- To actively promote & encourage the planning & development of more efficient, safer, transport systems, including improved roads, and the upgrading of highways & traffic rules to international standards. The extension of suburban & country electric railways, standard national rail gauge, provision of improved facilities for users of our waterways & their safety. Re-regulation of gas prices, & the encouragement of use of environmentally friendly liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to replace deadly unleaded petrol.

One Nation will have a genuine road safety program with an emphasis on safety rather than revenue. We support sensible speed limits, driver education to eradicate bad & dangerous habits, & the enforcement of penalties for them, plus the use of incentives rather than penalties to encourage road safety. Provision of improved waterways & access facilities for the growing numbers that use them. Encouragement of improved air transport services within the state.

TOURISM:- One Nation will support a major international marketing & promotional campaign to increase tourism, providing that any economic benefits flowing from it are retained in Queensland. Reduction in LPG prices so Australians & visitors can afford to tour Australia, especially those places off the beaten track.

COMMUNITY BASED REFERENDUM:- Community Based Referendum is relatively simple, inexpensive, & a democratically effective method of ensuring that the laws under which people live are approved by the people themselves.
