Should We Ban All Products From Communist China That We Can Make
Here?

Is it time we  banned all products from Communist China that we can make here?

We have already closed down our quality manufacturing industries because they can't compete with cheap labour and our Government is dedicated to free trade, now we have insult added to injury by being forced to buy in place of our own products  shoddy, second rate, contaminated  ones from Red China.

Recently we have had toys covered with lead paint, toothpaste containing anti-freeze and blankets contaminated with formaldehyde.

Our Governments are supposed to regulate against the sale of harmful goods.

In China we are dealing with a regime that puts no value on the lives of its own citizens, so why would they worry about the welfare of the "foreign devils" who buy their products. This is  the regime that backed Pol Pot, has committed genocide in  Tibet,  posses a large armoury of Weapons of Mass Destruction,  executes  political prisoners to get their organs for transplant and  kills babies as part of its one child policy and traditional female infanticide  (as was documented many years ago in the Channel Nine Program Sixty Minutes).

The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games will be window dressing for one of the cruellest regimes in the history of civilization.

Apart from that, edicts on the purity of food and other products are unenforceable in a country  that is ravaged with bureaucratic corruption and where there are literally millions of farmers and millions of factories.

So for our own welfare maybe we should tell the Chinese to keep their cheap junk to themselves.
