Deter the Drug Mules - Print it On Their Passport !
One Nation has a solution to the drug problem that will save some lives - when a person has a record of drug crime - print it on their passport!How would you like to be coming through customs at Bali, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore and know that the first thing the customs officer was going to see when he looked at your passport was "THIS PERSON HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF A DRUG OFFENCE"?
Obviously anyone with such a label would be gone over with the proverbial fine-toothed comb and would never even bother to try and bring drugs through an airport.
We can guarantee most drug mules and dealers have some prior conviction in relation to drugs - even if just for possession - so it would deter them from ever trying to smuggle them across a border anywhere.
This would save the lives of people who are going to suffer when the drugs get to Australia, not to mention the lives of those who might be stupid enough to try and bring them in.
